We're so excited for the upcoming Winterama Cardboard Toboggan Races! We'd like to take a moment to highlight some important safety reccomendations and information on hazardous toboggan materials:

βœ…Wear a helmet to keep your noggin safe in case of a wipeout β›‘
βœ… Dress for the forecasted weather. February can be frigid! ❄
βœ… Very young tobogganers are encouraged to ride with a parent πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘¦
βœ… Spacing your toboggans a few feet apart along the start line can help reduce chances of collisions. πŸ’₯

⚠ HAZARDOUS TOBOGGAN MATERIALS ⚠
Our toboggan safety volunteer will inspect every toboggan to ensure that no hazardous materials have been used:

βœ…Your toboggans must be constructed primarily from cardboard and duct tape.
🚫 Please do not use wood, metal* or plastic** to construct your toboggans.

*Cardboard pieces can be stapled together if duct tape alone does not suffice. However, any and all staples MUST be fully encased in duct tape.

**Soft plastic decorative elements such as streamers or googly eyes are acceptable.
