Taking a picture to seize the moment, creating a mood which would provide enjoyment to the onlooker, intrigued me and also challenged me! As a lover of nature, I enjoy photographing anything crossing my lens that can capture the beauty of Mother Nature.

Happy spring everyone. Sugaring off time in Canada. When our beautiful sugar maples start the rite of spring. When the sap starts rising from the cold winter earth, filling the fibers of the tree, enabling its rejuvenation. We have found that if the tree is tapped in a certain way, and a spigot inserted, the sap will run into the attached pail and it will be filled. The sap is then taken and boiled down in the sugar shack; the result is liquid gold....maple syrup.
