๐น Canadaโs economic growth remains modest, with GDP projected at 1.2% in 2026, gradually increasing over the next few years.
๐น The labour market remains soft, with slower job growth and unemployment hovering around 6.5%โ7%.
๐น Housing activity has slowed due to affordability challenges, economic uncertainty, and slower population growth.
๐น Inflation rose to 2.4% in March and is expected to increase further in the short term due to higher energy costs, before gradually returning to the 2% target.
