Markham JKA had 25 participants in the JKA Provincial Tournament on Sunday, Dec 3. The entire group did well and received 28 medals. Thank you to Toronto JKA for hosting the event.

Senior members of Markham JKA attended the 2022 Koyo Camp with distinguished instructor Kurihara Sensei from JKA headquarters on November 4 to 6. Thank you to the CJKF for organising this prestigious event.

Markham JKA karate classes will restart on Monday, January 31st based on the Premier's January 20th announcement for gyms to reopen.

Due to premier Ford's announcement 03Jan2022, Markham JKA is closed until 26Jan2022.
Ontario moves school online, closes indoor dining and gyms as part of sweeping new COVID-19 measures | CBC News Ontario is moving schools online for at least two weeks, temporarily closing indoor dining and gyms and pausing non-urgent medical procedures as it faces record-high case counts that, according to public health officials, threaten to overwhelm the province's health-care system.
Markham JKA opened on Monday September 13. We are accepting new students. Please email [email protected] to receive the registration package and set up a free trial.
Shotokan karate training at the Markham GO station will reopen on Monday, September 13th, 2021. Stay tuned for details. Woohoo!
