How do you choose the right lenses?

A higher prescription and a higher price do not always mean a lens is better for you.

When choosing lenses, focus on your prescription, frame size, budget, and daily needs.

A simple rule:
Higher refractive index = usually thinner lenses, which are better for stronger prescriptions.
But higher index lenses also usually cost more.

Quick guide:

0–300 degrees: 1.56 / 1.60

300–500 degrees: 1.60 / 1.67

500–700 degrees: 1.67

700+ degrees: 1.67 / 1.74, depending on frame size

Also keep in mind:

Bigger frames can make lens edges look thicker

Strong prescriptions should avoid oversized frames

1.74 is not always the best value

Don’t only look at thickness—clarity, durability, and price matter too

Feels light and pretty comfortable overall.
It has that low-presence feel, so it’s nice for everyday wear.

Acuvue Moist
A very classic option.
Easy to wear, reliable, and just one of those lenses a lot of people keep going back to.

Acuvue Oasys 1-Day
This one feels a bit more premium in terms of overall comfort.
If you care a lot about hydration and wear time, this is probably the one that stands out more.

My personal take:
For a light everyday feel → Precision1
For a safe classic choice → Acuvue Moist
For comfort and a more elevated wearing experience → Acuvue Oasys 1-Day

At the end of the day, contact lenses are still super personal.
Your eye shape, dryness level, screen time, and overall fit can make a huge difference.
