A large transportation client wanted to modernize its processes, supporting systems, and reporting platform and explore how an Enterprise Data platform could improve their information management capabilities. Adastra was brought in to develop and implement solutions for operational reporting, route analysis and optimization, and a Master Data Management solution for employee and asset domains to support vehicle maintenance. Our client had been using a Sybase Relational Database Management System to support its mission-critical customer-facing platform and other essential applications. With Sybase scheduled to go out of SAP support by 2025, the client knew that their database would soon be unsupportable and wanted to migrate to an alternative database server.
Adastra helped them migrate from Sybase to on-premise SQL Server, which will also serve as a conservative step towards the client’s move to the cloud in the future. Read more HERE:
