Today, I officially submitted my application and registered as a candidate for re-election as Ward 2 Councillor for the City of Markham.
It has been an honour to serve our community, and I’m excited to continue working hard for residents, families, seniors, and local businesses across Ward 2. There is still more to do, and I’m ready to keep fighting for a stronger, safer, and more connected Markham.
A special thank you to my wife, Loretta, for her constant love, encouragement, and support throughout this journey. I couldn’t do this without you ❤️
I look forward to connecting with residents over the coming months and earning your continued trust and support.
What a day! 🍔💛
Spent McHappy Day volunteering at the McDonald’s on Highway 7 and Warden in Markham, serving burgers, coffee, and plenty of smiles — all for a cause that truly matters.
From the lunchtime rush to the laughs with residents and teammates (and yes… no dropped coffees ☕️😄), it was a full day of community spirit and good vibes.
Proud to support families through Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Family Room at Markham Stouffville Hospital. If you’d like to help too, you can donate here:

Happy McHappy Day — see you next year! 🍟✨
Great turnout at our Crime & Safety Townhall this past weekend 🙌
A big thank you to York Regional Police, Deputy Mayor Michael Chan, YRDSB Chair Ron Lynn, our Neighbourhood Watch groups, community leaders, and all the residents who came out to listen, ask questions, and be part of the conversation.
Crime rates are down, but we won’t stop here — let’s keep working together to stay proactive, support one another, and continue building a safer community for everyone.
