OneHub Growth is honoured to receive funding from the New Horizons Seniors Program 2025-26 to support this musical project for the racialized community. Here is a success story from a youth volunteer, Edison Law, who is the keyboardist of our music band. Let’s hear what Edison described as his positive experiences working with seniors to achieve their hopes, commitments, and dreams.
“Hi, I am Edison, and I am the keyboardist for this music capstone event. So, during these few months, I have learned a lot about working with seniors, like coordinating skills and also improving my own musical skills. Joining this is a really new experience for me because I’m not really familiar with working with seniors. So, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Yup.”

We are happy to share that our Senior Capstone Project - A Music Live Concert was successfully completed on November 29, 2025. We would like to thank the federal government for granting this meaningful funding. Without its support, our capstone music project would never have happened in our Chinese community. We all felt privileged to deliver a program that meets the cultural needs of our seniors. We also want to acknowledge all the hard work our music band members have done since June this year, and over 40 guests who witnessed the live band performance. Here is the link to our website that includes five (5) music videos and photos.
