OneHub Growth CSJ Summer Student, Liam McGarry, would like to share his perspective on working at OneHub Growth with everyone. His words are powerful and inspiring. Thank you, Liam, for working with us.

Liam McGarry is a student at the University of Ottawa enrolled in the Common Law JD program. He’s passionate about socio-economic inequality and community outreach.

Throughout this summer, Liam planned, researched, and facilitated two successful workshops informing participants about careers in law and business law regarding the incorporation and operation of non-profits.

Interested in becoming a youth volunteer who helps seniors make our community a better place?

OneHub Growth, a non-profit organization, is hosting an "Age-Friendly Community Project" for seniors. This project is made possible thanks to the Seed grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Youth Volunteer Roles:
- Attend weekly meetings to collect data for different aspects of life involving the 12 content pillars
- Create display boards & participate in outreach activities

- Strengthen cultural identities

Interested in becoming a senior ambassador for our community?

OneHub Growth, a non-profit organization, is hosting an "Age-Friendly Community Project" for seniors. This project is made possible thanks to the Seed grant from the provincial government’s Ontario Trillium Foundation.

This “Age-Friendly Community Project” is designed for seniors who are:
- Aged 55 or above from the Chinese community
- Interested in becoming ambassadors of the community
- Passionate about addressing social and public issues
- Able to commit their time to weekly in-person meetings and outreach activities in the libraries
