The world is a complex place - conspiracy theories, "fake news," everyone with a microphone & an opinion pushing podcasts. Developed by a Doctor of Education, this course explores critical thinking, fact-checking, and research skills through theory & discussion.

NEW PROGRAMMING! (Leadership)
Learn to Lead: develop skills and strengths such as communication, confidence, critical thinking, self-discipline, and teamwork to take on leadership roles in school, the workplace, and the community. Workplace Ready: workplace preparation skills including job applications, resume writing, interviewing, effective communication, and professional etiquette.

NEW PROGRAMMING! (First Aid)
Emergency First Aid/CPR-B (1-day): general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Includes victim assessment, choking, external bleeding, heart attack, stroke & burns.
Standard First Aid/CPR-C (2-day): comprehensive training covering all aspects of first aid & CPR. Incorporates all of Emergency First Aid as well as legal implications of first aid, head & spinal injuries, bone & joint injuries, heat & cold injuries, and medical emergencies.
