If you’ve ever spent hours running a floor machine that’s the wrong height for you, your back knows it the next morning.

Every Centaur floor machine has an adjustable handle height. Just turn the tri-nut and set it to your hip height. No bending down. No tools needed.

It sounds simple, but when you’re running a machine for hours at a time, the right height makes a real difference in how you feel at the end of the shift.

Every floor guy has one. That one job where the floor was so far gone that nobody thought it could come back.

Maybe it was a warehouse floor with years of buildup. Maybe it was a lobby that hadn’t been stripped in a decade. Maybe it was a tile job where the grout was black and the client was ready to rip it all out and start over.

And then you brought it back. Layer by layer. Pass by pass. Until it looked brand new.

Those are the jobs you remember. The ones where the client couldn’t believe it was the same floor.

If you’ve ever turned on a floor machine and had it jump out of your hands, you know how jarring that can be.

Most floor machines start at full speed the second you flip the switch. That sudden jolt can catch you off guard, especially on a slippery floor with stripper or water on it.

The Rabbit-3 has a soft start/stop motor. It ramps up gradually when you turn it on and slows down smoothly when you stop. No sudden jerks. No surprises.

It’s a safety feature, but it also just makes the machine easier to control from the first second you turn it on.

The Rabbit-3 downsizes from 18” to 13” for tight areas like washrooms, closets, and narrow hallways. One machine that fits wherever the job takes you.

Floor machines with DC motors use carbon brushes that wear out over time. That’s normal. But in most machines, there’s no easy way to tell when they need replacing. If you miss it, it can cause serious damage to the motor.

The Rabbit-3 has a small indicator light on the motor shroud that tells you when the carbon brushes need changing. Think of it like the oil change light in your car. When it comes on, it’s time.

The brushes only need replacing about every 10 years, they’re easy to swap out, and they’re inexpensive. It’s a small feature that can save you from a big repair.

If you’ve ever had dirty water spray all over the walls and baseboards while running a floor machine, you know how frustrating cleanup can be. You finish the floor and then spend extra time wiping down everything around it.

The Centaur SplashGuard is built into every Rabbit-1, Rabbit-3, and Stonechat. Turn three k***s and the SplashGuard drops down to enclose the floor pad and pad driver, keeping the messy mixture of chemicals, wax, and slurry trapped underneath the machine. Not on your walls. Not on furniture. Not on display cases.

Without one, your only option is lining walls and furniture with plastic sheeting before you start. Depending on the size of the job, that alone can add hours.

Power cords wear out. On the Rabbit-3, replacing one takes about 10 seconds. Just twist, pull, and swap in a new one. No service call needed.

The best part of any job is that last look before you pack up.

Everything is done. The floors are clean. The equipment is wiped down and loaded. You take one last walk through the building and everything looks exactly the way it should.

Nobody else is going to see what it looked like before you got there. But you know. And that’s what makes it worth it.

You know you’ve been doing floors too long when you walk into a grocery store and immediately look down to check what kind of finish they’re using.

Or when you see a scuff mark in a hotel lobby and you’re already thinking about which pad would take it out.

Or when someone says “the floors look clean” and you think “they could look better.”

This job changes the way you see every building you walk into. You can’t turn it off
