The real estate market were up in December 2023 in comparison to December 2022. TRREB market statistics reported 3,444 sales in the GTA during the month, 11.5% increase compared to the same period in 2022.
The average selling price in the GTA gains 3.2% to $1.085 million, Compared to November of this year, prices have remained relatively stable.
The days on market is 32, seven days more compare with November.
The number of newly listed homes during the month was 10,370, resulting in a sales-to-new listings ratio of a buyer-favored 33.2%.

This September was one of the slowest months in the last few years. Many buyers are sitting on the sidelines waiting for prices to fall further. Investors are trying to hunt for deals.
β¨Despite this, I sold this unit above asking and it's not by listing the unit artificially low but by crafting out a strategy to present the unit in the best way possible at a competitive price.
