Last weekend proved it in the clearest way. Chris and Cole came in very early on their day off — no phone calls, no complaints — just two hardworking guys making sure a customer could get a car safely off a lift with a blown hose.

Quiet excellence. Zero fuss. Just genuine commitment from two guys who work harder than almost anyone we know. Moments like this remind us how lucky we are to have a team that doesn’t just do the job — they are the standard, they are the brand. Team dedication at its finest.

We weren’t around in 1958 (not even a twinkle in someone’s carburetor), but Caballero runs on the same old‑school values — family‑owned, customer‑first, and proud to Raise the Standard One Lift at a Time.

You’ll be seeing Chris and Troy out and about in the coming weeks — minus the tweed suits, but with the same handshake‑ready service and grin that makes you wonder if they did just step out of a vintage magazine.

August 16 is the last Haney Chrome & Classic of the season, and we’re not wrapping things up gently — we’re sending this series off like a burnout in a quiet cul‑de‑sac.

If you’ve been meaning to roll in, this is your moment. If you’ve been here all summer, you already know how we do it — chrome shining, engines flexing, and the parking lot turning into Maple Ridge’s unofficial summer block party.

We’re back — refreshed, recharged, and just the right amount of feral — ready to fix whatever your shop broke while we were living our best lives.

On the docket this week are some lift inspections, vacuum repairs, oil reel replacements, and some lift repairs. Parts are loaded, tools are packed and coffee has been topped up, we are ready.

Here in Greater Vancouver, the skies might be clearer and the celebrations a little lighter — but our hearts are firmly with our neighbours in other parts of the province.

As evacuation orders, alerts, and an aggressive wildfire push families to pack up their lives, we’re reminded how deeply connected this province really is. BC isn’t just mountains and coastlines — it’s people showing up for each other, no matter the distance.

To the crews on the front lines, the volunteers, the pilots, the dispatch teams, and every resident holding steady: we see you, we’re with you, and we’re cheering for you.
