☠️ Cash Sales for Tat the Staff is tomorrow! 🦄

Students will be able to purchase temporary tattoos tomorrow, June 4, with cash at Ms. Montgomery’s classroom over the lunch hour.

Students can purchase tattoos for participating staff members with cash over the lunch hour in Ms. Montgomery’s classroom:
✨Small tattoos — $1
✨Medium tattoos — $2
✨Large tattoos — $5
✨Face tattoos — $15 (select staff only, limit 1)

There will be some temporary tattoos available for students to pick for their teacher. 🌹

🚨 Hot Lunch Reminder – Fuel Catering is tomorrow June 3! 🚨

If your child is sick or won’t be at school tomorrow, please call the school office *after 9AM* at (604) 463-9513 so our Hot Lunch Coordinators can be notified. 🙏

Coordinators cannot monitor texts, Facebook messages, or emails on Hot Lunch days — calling the office is the only way to ensure your message is received.

🕚 Pickup Reminder:
Please come by 12:00pm to pick up your child's lunch (if they are absent).
There is no storage available, so any unclaimed lunches will be donated to another student.

Our Hot Lunch Coordinators and volunteers are very busy receiving large orders, checking accuracy, and sorting by division before delivering to classrooms — thank you for your understanding and support! 💙

🍭 Cotton Candy Fulfillment Delay 🍭

Due to an unexpected supply issue, our Cotton Candy delivery and after-school sale have been postponed from June 4 to June 11.

The supplier has informed us that the Birthday Cake flavour is unavailable. Families with affected orders have been contacted to select a new flavour or receive a refund. To allow time for these changes, we have delayed delivery by one week.

📦 Pre-orders will now be delivered to students before the dismissal bell on June 11.

🍭 Extra tubs will be available for purchase after school on June 11 outside the front entrance while supplies last

🍬 Missing Sugar Rush Friday? Us too! 🍬

Since the May showers put a damper on our Sugar Rush Friday's, PAC has decided to have a special Sugar Rush MONDAY! Today afterschool grab a treat for surviving the first day of the school week 😜

🍬 Giant sour keys — 50 cents each

All proceeds support PAC-funded school activities.

🚨 Golden Ears PAC is at risk of dissolving 🚨

At our AGM, we were unable to complete PAC elections due to a lack of nominations. A new election date is pending.

We have received a nomination for one Co-Chair position, but we still urgently need:
• 1 additional Co-Chair
• Treasurer

Without these positions being filled, PAC will unfortunately have to dissolve.

This would mean the loss of:
• Gaming Grant funding from the province ($12,700 received for 2025/26)
• Hot Lunch Program & Treat Days
• Funding for field trips, classroom funds, and clubs
• Support for programs like Art Club, Run Club, and more
• Special presentations and student experiences like ArtStarts performances
• Family events including movie nights, dances, paint nights, and community events
• Support for the CSW Program and Support Resource Room
• Future events families have been asking for, including larger community events and activities

Many of our current PAC Executive has dedicated multiple years to supporting students, families, and our school community, and is hoping new parents and caregivers will step forward to continue this important work and bring fresh ideas and energy to PAC.

No PAC experience is needed, and transition support will be provided.

At the end of the day, it’s our children who lose these opportunities 💙
