Realizing I haven’t done any sort of introduction post since I started this page...! Hi! 👋🏻 My name is Janessa, I have been doing photography for almost 10 years now - I shot my first wedding the year after I graduated. It’s been great for me to have this outlet for creative expression over the time I’ve been shooting, but I of course also love the interaction I get to have with so many couples and families....it’s really wonderful getting to be part of their different seasons and special moments.
A little about me! I am married to Keanu, and am mama to my little girls Lierra and Niyah. I love being a mom and have always treasured and valued what an important and special role it is to be blessed with. I also homeschool and so enjoy getting to teach my girls and be involved in their education and development through their day-to-day life. It definitely has it’s challenges...but I know God is faithful to give Keanu and I the grace we need for each stage of parenting as we seek to lead our daughters in His ways. My husband and I also have a little side business, , and in the past we’ve done pour-over/cold brew bars for markets and events. We’ve recently ventured into roasting our own coffee, Keanu is super passionate about it and our dream has always been to open a shop one day down the road 🙌🏻 We shall see what the future holds....! One week already...!! 😄

While we were in Michigan earlier this week I also got to capture some moments with this wonderful couple...! Snuck a few shots in a cute coffee shop while their little one slept 👌🏻

Something really wonderful happened last weekend......! ❤️ Congratulations to my brother Jacey and his beautiful new bride! So very overjoyed for you both. I was so happy to get to capture your day, love you!! (Also, Grand Rapids is kind of stunning) ✨

Happy New Year from our little family...! We got to pretend like we were in Europe yesterday at the Michigan State Capitol 😊 Hope you all have had a great start to 2019....!!
