Yesterday was the culmination of MONTHS of work by our Sports Executive, Bev Tully, at ANAVets #379 Events and Entertainment Army Navy Air Force Unit 379. All proceeds are going into our building fund because we got a bill for $16k to fix our heating.

This weekend coming up we are doing it again, the fundraising part, because Tami Harry and Lynette Chauvin have both volunteered to have me turn their birthdays into a fundraiser party.

Now.... I'll be the very first to say I am not a fundraiser. I've watched my peers and all the hard work they put in and it's just not my forte. I've got tickets on sale now at the bar for Down n’ Dirty - Vintage Rock and Roll show at 8pm on Saturday and I've go a couple of leftover prizes from the golf tournament Bev has donated to raffle off.

I'm looking for volunteers to help raise funds and donate to the club (yes, you can get a donation tax receipt!!). I'm looking for people to come to the club on Saturday at ANY point (poster with itinerary in the comments) and enjoy the entertainment, bring a potluck dish / snack for the table, and a pocket full of cash to buy 50/50, raffle and just straight up donate.
