I’ve had the page name “Tara Adamyk Realtor/Mom” for years now. Originally I called it that because I didn’t want this page to only be about real estate. But it’s grown into being more about real estate.
Also, I used to think it was important to point out that I’m a Mom because it means I’m family-oriented and also: who works harder than a Mother?? A Mom needs to be organized, plan, wear many different hats, work constantly, and always put the best interests of others first. Which is also a lot like how I approach real estate.
But I want my page to look more professional and I think most people can tell I’m a Mom anyways. So this is just a short announcement that I’m changing my page name to Tara Adamyk REALTOR®
I think this is in the best interests of my clients as well because everyone wants to be represented by a professional and the “Mom” in my account may make this seem like just a social media identity.

I know what it’s like to be promised one thing and then receive an underwhelming experience. I really wish more people and businesses would just be honest! My motto with my business is to always set realistic expectations and then work really hard to exceed them. I’m constantly looking for ways to be EXTRA for my clients and WOW them so that they are pleasantly surprised. I would never go into a listing appointment and say anything a potential client wants to hear just to gain their business. I will always be 100% honest. Everyone deserves to know exactly what they are getting into and what to expect! I think this is one reason why my reviews have always been 5-star. There’s never been any surprises with me and if anything- people are surprised by how much I actually did for them!!😊
Does it matter whether your Realtor lives in the area you’re planning to buy in or not? I think it does. Yes, there is a ton of information anyone can obtain online. But only by actually living in a place can you truly know what it’s like.
Anyone who lives in Maple Ridge will know how different it is to live in Silver Valley vs Albion. Or Hammond vs Northwest Maple Ridge. Traffic, future development plans, and schools all make a difference to whether a particular sub-community will be the right fit or not.
This is why I made a decision years ago to only focus on my area. Even if a client is buying in Chilliwack- I will find a local expert there to help them. Integrity matters more than profit. Your and your family’s best interests are #1.
And the same goes for selling your home. Would you rather someone local sell your home or someone from out-of-town? I love Maple Ridge and I think that enthusiasm shows when I represent a Maple Ridge home. I can tell potential buyers all the ins and outs of living here, which I know they appreciate.❤️

Join your Maple Ridge Fire Fighters on Wednesday, August 12, from 6:00–8:00 PM at Fire Hall 4 for an evening of family fun. Explore our fire trucks, meet your local firefighters, learn more about fire safety, and enjoy a fun summer evening with family, friends, and neighbours.
We're grateful that recent changes to local water restrictions have made it possible to bring Hot Summer Nights back. We also appreciate everyone's understanding that, if water restrictions are reinstated before the event, we may need to cancel.

What the heck is my Realtor doing to market my home between showings and open houses? Well, hopefully continuing to give your listing maximum exposure. Most buyers look for real estate online. So we want your pictures and video to look as appealing and inviting as possible. But we also want to make sure your listing stands out and can be found on every single platform where people look for real estate. On top of that, I also invest in online targeted ads, focusing on individuals who are proven to be looking online at real estate. I will also advertise in neighbourhood groups and have had success with that! I actually found buyers for one of my listings by advertising the listing in a neighbourhood group. While it may seem like your Realtor isn’t doing anything between showings, they should be continuing to advertise your listing and gain more exposure. And especially online.

I am SO EXCITED!!! 11484 207 Street Maple Ridge is SOLD!!!🥳🥳🥳 Long story short, these Sellers contacted me after being listed with another Realtor since 2024. They listened to all my advice to get the home ready for market and then I took the reins. They remarked to me that we had more activity in the last two months than they have had in two years! Last week we had multiple offers and now today we are SOLD. The relief these wonderful Sellers have makes my job so worthwhile.
On top of that, I am very thrilled for the first-time homebuyers who bought this home. It is such a cute rancher that many people loved when they came through. Wishing them many happy moments & memories for years to come.
