Hello! My name is Karen Osborne and I am a Certified Foot Reflexologist with almost 5 years experience. I have always been drawn to the world of natural and holistic approaches to healing with reflexology techniques being a main interest. This has developed into a strong desire to help others “rest and repair” by connecting through therapeutic touch and a calm environment

What it is and what I do:
Foot Reflexology is a type of complementary and non-invasive therapy that involves applying pressure to specific points on the foot that correspond directly to parts of your body. During a 1 hour session, I always start and end with relaxation techniques to reduce stress and increase your body’s healing ability. You will be in a low light room with soothing music while I systematically work through your body systems on the foot including the digestive, respiratory, and lymphatic systems. Reflexology is especially effective on the autonomic nervous system helping to activate the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and repair) and decreases the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) This can reduce stress and cortisol levels, relieve pain, increase sleep and encourage your body's natural healing response.

With the world struggling more than ever with stress and mental health concerns, I have a special passion for creating a relaxing and stress-free environment to encourage a calm, safe and peaceful space for healing.
