Families enjoyed a StoryWalk through the school, reading “Pete the Cat – Rockin’ in My School Shoes” along the way. It was wonderful to see 72 families come out to participate in this joyful literacy adventure.

Offered at 4 school sites over 3 sessions, KinderPLAY welcomed nearly 200 families into our classrooms to play, connect, and ease the transition to Kindergarten. 💛

SD42 K/1 teachers from Fairview Elementary wrapped up their Changing Possibilities for Young Children journey with Langley colleagues today—an inspiring afternoon of deep thinking, meaningful dialogue, and shared passion for early learning.

From supporting social-emotional wellness to making learning visible through rich documentation, these educators are reimagining what’s possible for young children.
