London Ribfest

I don’t normally do this, but I have to tell everyone about a new takeout restaurant I discovered in the Pond Mills area.

They are not in any of my festivals, and that’s perfectly okay. I’d love to have them someday when they’re truly ready, because the food deserves some attention.

Their specialty is **boneless chicken tenders**, but if you love big, incredible wings, you need to give this place a try.

And definitely take home some of their **all-white-meat chicken tenders for the kids — but order extra for yourself!** You won’t be able to resist them.

These are some of the biggest pieces of boneless chicken I have ever had. Tender, juicy, perfectly deep-fried in fresh oil, with an incredible batter, flavour and texture.

It’s a nice, family-owned little takeout place that is doing chicken very, very well.

A couple of things I’d love to see them add: better side dishes like baked beans and mac & cheese. They have fries, although they aren’t fresh-cut. Their coleslaw is good.

But the chicken? **Absolutely worth the trip.**

Sometimes you find a little family-run place that deserves people talking about it.

Due to weather Ribfest 2026 judging will be moved to tomorrow Monday August 3rd. Can't wait to see the judges on monday in the sunshine. 🌞
