Our Story
World Embrace™ is a ministry born out of a desire to see the Body of Christ come together, to transform their communities and their nations in fulfillment of the prayer of Jesus in John 17:20-21:
“I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me…”
World Embrace believes that unity within the Body of Christ is foundational to the world knowing that Jesus is God’s Son and that God loves the world as much as He loves His only begotten Son. World Embrace will pursue laying this foundation through discipleship training using the As One Life Experience in small group settings made up of followers of Jesus from different denominations and networks.
As this movement of love grows (moving from stranger to friend and from friend to family), World Embrace will help facilitate and encourage synergy between ministries to meet the needs of their communities.
As well, World Embrace will coordinate regional and national gatherings called Heaven’s Rehearsal to bring together the Body of Christ in celebration and worship to lift up the name of Jesus.
World Embrace™ believes that the growing unity of believers will bring about dynamic evangelistic and holistic ministry efforts empowered by a commanded blessing upon God’s people and their land (Psalm 133).
