East London Optometry was founded in London, Ontario in 1980 by Dr. John Astles. It has been providing excellence in eye and vision care for Londoners for more than 36 years. Today we have five optometrists and phenomenal staff all working together to best serve our patients.

Today we toured the Essilor Etobicoke manufacturing plant where we learned how our lenses are manufactured in detail! So cool! Thanks to and Julie, Oscar and Heena for showing us around and organizing the tour. Also a special thank you to our bus driver from Lavish Limousine in London On!

East London Optometry was selected to participate in Essilor Luxottica’s Peak Vision in Milan, Italy. Dr. Drexler joined other eye care professionals from across Canada and toured the Essilor Luxottica Experience Centre to learn about the latest trends in eyewear and technology including Rayban glasses, Oakley Meta Wearables, and the brand new Nuance audio glasses. Nuance Audio is a new invisible listening assistant that is built into glasses. Contact the office if you would like a demonstration or for more information on these products. Our sunglass sale is on until the end of May so hurry in to take advantage of this promotion!
