Paragon Customs is looking for ways to give back to the community and to put a larger focus on helping those in need. This will bring our team together and give a chance for our employees to volunteer, as well as be able to give back to the community that supports us.

We are in the process of taking a few ideas to fruition, however we would like to continue to ask for ideas from others. These ideas can involve money or time, etc... As well as other companies who would like to partner with us in this adventure.

I am looking for workers to complete a steal shingle roof job with me in London near Masonville Mall. Must be available to start asap. Job will last 2-3 months or until roof completed.
Must have working at heights course. or a valid fall arrest card.
Will need steal toe shoes and reflective safety shirts.

Jacksway crescent in London is going full steam ahead! 100,000 plus sqft to go!!!

We are removing the existing shingles, installing vertical strapping, ice and water,synthetic underlay, and horizontal strapping, then finishing it all off with allmet granulated steel shake tiles.

This will be the nicest condo roof in all of London.

Here is a deck we built a year and a half ago to access the newly built second floor unit.

Things to watch for on second story decks is how you lag your header into the wall, the size of your footings, posts, beams, and joists, as well you can see there is a cantilever overhang on this deck. Be sure you have designed it to code.
You can host a small dinner party on this deck so we knew we had to beef every aspect up to allow for such events.
Don't cut corners on your deck. It can be a luxury over the spring, summer, and fall months, but it must be safe!

Hiring 1 - 2 people for a job in London. Near Masonville Mall.

Must be comfortable with heights, have or be willing to complete safety training, comfortable using hand tools, work hard Monday - Friday.

Must be able to start asap.

Must be able to start next week. Training is on Saturday/early next week for working at heights course (full day course, $165.00 each. Possible to get reimbursed for the course near completion of the job)

Today we spent the morning helping Habitat for Humanity Southern Georgian Bay to pre build walls for two homes that will be built in a few weeks right here in Collingwood!

If you are in business, you should always find a way to give back, either your time or money, or both!

I look forward to seeing these homes go up, and to help further.

We toured a local Bone Structure Home that was being built near Blue Mountain courtesy of Stone Custom Homes.

All steel construction allows the home to be framed in about a weeks time.

25' spans with no load bearing walls.
