Some playwrights in London, Ontario The London Playwrights Lab is a group of diverse writers dedicated to the development of new works.
It was founded by London Community Players and London Writers Society, building on a playwriting group started at the London public library with playwright-in-residence Dave Carley. Its goal is to foster an environment of support and creativity, where playwrights can explore their craft and take risks.
The London Playwrights Lab meets the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Palace Theatre. If you are an emerging playwright, an established playwright or anything in between you're more than welcome to drop by. If you would like to attend and have a reading of a part of your work in progress, please let us know!

There are three sides to every love story! "Love Triangles", an evening of staged readings by members of the London Playwrights Lab, Friday May 27th ($5 suggested donation)
London Playwrights Lab is excited to present the second in a series of staged readings featuring original works by local playwrights, Rob Wheeler, Michael Wilmot, Lynda Martens and Dan Ebbs. This Pay What You Can Event is a unique opportunity for the audience to participate in the plays’ development process through feedback sessions with each playwright.
The evening also features the talents of Director/Dramaturge Jim Schaefer and actors Joe Belanger, Meghan Brown, Kerry Hishon, Joanne Lubansky-Johns, Damon Muma, Bryton McKinnon, Paul Myers and Linda Worsley.

Thank you! to the 70 people who came to The Palace Theatre on Friday, Nov. 25, for London Playwrights Lab's first evening of staged readings. Special thanks to the six actors who brought the scripts to life: Kim Kaitell, Robin Rundle Drake, Jacqui Vandale, Joe Belanger, Mathew Mckenzie, and Chris McAuley.
The playwrights -- D'vorah Elias, Robyn Israel, Peter Janes, and Richard Nagel, will meet Monday evening and study all your comments carefully.
