Smart Steps is an organization that provides a free tutoring service. Our aim is to academically assi We offer assistance in math, science and English!
As a student-run organization, we aspire to provide children with more opportunities to advance their academic accomplishments, by offering a one-on-one tutoring service. With a one time registration fee of $10 this will allow you to obtain 2 hour tutoring sessions per week from September to April. Voluntary tutors from Western University are recruited to assist students grades 1 to 8 in various d
SmartSteps is expanding. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to start chapters in universities across the province. Please comment or reach out for more information.

Meet Subaniya Thayaparan!
Program: Medical Sciences, 3rd Year
Hobbies: Baking, singing, reading, swimming, and watching Netflix!
Fun facts: I travelled through 8 states in the US in one day and I once dislocated my jaw just by yawning!
Why I chose to tutor: I chose to tutor because I love the idea of passing on and sharing my knowledge with people, especially with the younger generation. Tutoring has always been a passion of mine particularly because I love working with children and young adults. Education is so important in our society and I want to make sure that everyone is able to thrive and succeed in whatever they choose to do, and if tutoring is something that an individual needs to succeed, then I’m here!
