Changing Ways
This advances our broader goal of achieving equality within a safe community, where a
We exist to eliminate men’s abusive and violent behaviours against women and children, and to eliminate other forms of gender-based violence in intimate relationships.
By working with St Thomas Police Service we are able to provide services more readily to people needing accountable support and intervention in IPV-related incidents. We are committed to making our communities safer, and are grateful to work with such dedicated partners.

What an honour to celebrate at Joan's Place yesterday as the Ontario Bar Association presented its 2026 President's Award to the London Justice Centre.
Throughout the event, one message stood out: meaningful change happens through partnership. Speakers emphasized that the success of the London Justice Centre would not be possible without strong community collaboration and the unwavering dedication of its case managers. Changing Ways is honoured to contribute to this work through case management and the specialised groups we provide for young adults brought into the Justice Centre. It is a privilege to work alongside so many committed partners in support of individuals and families in our community.
Congratulations to everyone involved. This recognition reflects the incredible work taking place every day and the impact it continues to have across our community.

This Pride, we're celebrating the diversity of our community and our ongoing commitment to creating inclusive, welcoming services.
At Changing Ways, we know that people come to our services with a wide range of identities, experiences, and stories. We are committed to ensuring that everyone who reaches out for support is met with respect, dignity, and compassion.
We know inclusion is an ongoing practice, not a destination. This Pride Month, we recommit ourselves to learning, growing, and strengthening the ways we support the diverse communities we serve. 🌈
Check out this powerful video about Lydia's Law, created using the experiences of survivors and advocates who attended the Queen's Park debate last week.

We Want to Hear From You!
We’re partnering with students from the King’s University, Psychology Department, to help strengthen our programs and community impact.
As part of this project, we’re piloting two anonymous surveys:
🟣 Community Survey – Open to any community member who wants to share feedback about our presence and engagement.
🟢 Client Survey – If you completed one of our programs anytime from 2020 to now, we’d love to hear about your experience.
Both surveys are completely anonymous, take about 5–10 minutes, and will directly help us improve our services and community work.
🗓️ Pilot surveys are open until March 23rd.
Your voice truly makes a difference.

It was a pleasure to join UWO’s Student Council, campus resources, and community partners at this week’s Harm Reduction Fair. With St. Patrick’s Day approaching, the event focused on sharing information about safer practices and available supports for students.
We talked about being accountable community members, committed to safety and preventing sexual violence. We asked how we can show up for one another: when we see someone in a vulnerable position, hear or witness someone being targeted, or simply get a gut feeling that something isn’t right. What are the ways we can step in, check in, and support each other?
Creating safer campuses starts with looking out for one another. 💚

In partnership with students from King's University, we are launching our first Community Survey! We want to hear from London community members to better align our outreach and services with community needs. Anyone is welcome to reply, regardless of your knowledge of our services or IPV in London.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and is anonymous. You can access the survey here: https://forms.office.com/r/wKAzQa3USH
This inital pilot will help inform our community outreach and advocacy, and will be a stepping stone to continously engaging with all communities we serve to ensure we are working collaborativley.
Data collection is open until March 24th to pilot this survey. See the flyer for more details.

Thank you to the London Abused Women’s Centre for an exceptional Women’s Day Breakfast. In a room filled with nonprofits, businesses, City of London employees, volunteers, and passionate community members, we shared food, renewed our shared commitment to gender equality, and reflected on the incredible work of Heather Marshall.
Thank you to LAWC for continuing to bring the community together and for shining a light on gender-based violence. 💜
