Love our quiet Friday nights after a busy week. Movie on, homemade pizza out of the oven, fire going, and girls all snuggly in their pjs.

Being a cold grey morning, it seemed the perfect day to take a few minutes before an appointment to treat myself. It feels even better to support a beloved local business.

The reality of doing things for myself like early morning quiet times means I’m in bed by about 9:30pm so I can get the 8 hours of sleep I so desperately need.

Dinner tonight was a definite win. Slow cooked chicken burrito bowls with homemade cilantro lime rice, and homemade guacamole. Yum.

Good morning! Starting my day off right means getting out of bed early, while my girls are still sleeping and enjoying a quiet coffee spending time with my Bible and a beautiful notebook. It’s truly amazing how much this little routine impacts my day!

After school hot cocoa with my favorites. So thankful to be at home with them!

With a new year, comes new attitudes, thought processes and the desire to make a change. Though it’s important to earn an income, what if we earned in a different way? Did you know it’s possible to make money in a way that puts all these other things into balance in your life?

Though I never planned on, or even imagined being a single mum of twins, I am so proud of how I’ve grown and adapted over these past few years.

Being a mother of twins (though just being a mother) is not for the faint of heart. This season of life is full of challenges and struggles, but it has also made me confident in my ability to rise to a challenge and adapt to my circumstances. I know that rather than just surviving I can thrive, and that’s what 2023 is all about!
