Period Equity Project has been working with the London Public Libraries for the last couple of months and we have run through our supply of menstrual pads!

We have tampons and there is no shortage any time soon but we need pads pretty desperately!

Thanks for bearing with us while The Period Equity Project took a little time to regroup and reflow.

We’re back in action and here to help—so if you or someone you know needs period products, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to keep things flowing smoothly.

And thank you to everyone who donated, made buttons, exchanged friendship bracelets and to all the puppers who made the Fairy Godparents very happy!

We didn't quite fill a truck today but we met so many wonderful people and we will be back next year with another truck!

It's no secret that reproductive rights are taking a huge step backward right now and our volunteers (also called the Bloody Pirates) are so tired. We are all activists in our own lives and doing our own projects and the Period Equity Project hasn't quite been the same since our Tampon Library was stolen last year.

Our volunteers face hate when we post in community groups and our volunteers are tired.

It's for this very reason that the Period Equity Project is going to be taking a pause. We aren't sure when we will be back but we want you to know that we WILL be back.

We just need to take a pause for our mental health, our lives, and we need to rest so we can be ready for the bigger fight ahead for reproductive justice.

This is a temporary reprieve to protect the longevity of the project.

In the meantime, if you are in need of products, please check your community organizations, the London Food Bank, community centres, social services, and also ask your community Facebook groups for support.

Don't underestimate the power of direct action and mutual aid.
