🐌🍂 hey! it’s been a while

while I have always intended for my art to be part-time in my life, I have unfortunately put it to the back burner as of late and I miss you all!

life updates for me:
🍎 I started my Master’s program this fall
🏠 I moved houses (big thing)
🩰 I started ballet!
💼 I took on a new responsibility at work

things are exciting over here and I wanted fo provide some context for my absence

I hope you all are enjoying your early fall days and taking time to reflect on the strides *you* have made in this transitional period of the year 🍁🍂 let me know something in the comments that you’ve been up to this early autumn

this piece is a memoir of all the little things that remind me of my partner, or in other words, to ‘add up’ all the bits of love I see within objects that remind me of them 🤍 it was one of my biggest pieces yet :)

this is my second year of participation and it was so lovely! I got to see close friends’ art and other q***r artists from the area

was very cool to be able to be involved again this year and I was so pleased getting to chat with others in the space 🌈

thank you for those who made it special, like my friends April (art ), sereia, brooke, and my mom, partner, and sister for attending!

june was such a lively month for me and my partner - I had markets, commissions, and little side quests like my new involvement in a local q***r book club 🌈

definitely will look back on this month with fondness, despite its busyness

this was a lovely event! loved getting to meet people and even meet some that I’ve seen at markets before too ;)

was such a wonderful and thoughtful event, from the presenters, drag queens, and meaningful words lead by friends at 🤍

I had the pleasure of featuring my pieces in the storefront today - I took some pictures to commemorate this very exciting event!

🎀 art around my home ~

it’s pride month! happy pride 🌈 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

this month I have a few big events to attend and apply myself in, which I’m looking forward to! Wortley Pride is happening and I have an exhibition to attend too - I did it last year and ended up selling my piece (the Luna Moth framed one)

wanted to say hello cause it’s been a while since I’ve checked in properly 🫶🏼 keeping up with you all on my stories has been lovely
