Coming up this Saturday is Medway Heritage Festival. There will Indigenous drumming, Elder teachings, birds of prey, guided hikes, bee keeping, clay pit firing, Biinaagami giant map, vendors, food and activities. Sounds like a great family day out. I will also be a vendor at this event, check out the new sun catchers, jewelry and hai accessories I have for sale. This is all happening at the MOA Museum of Ontario Archaeology located at 1600 Attawandaron Rd.

Looking for early Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift, something to do on a gloomy day. Come out to the Thorndale Community centre for the Spring Boutique Market. Lots of unique and talented vendors to see.

Dream catcher/ sun catcher. This was what I was working on when I made the jump rings that snapped my flush cutters. I am really happy with how the feathers turned out. Taken in my backyard in the trimmed lilac bush. Can’t wait for it to get taller again. ® # ®︎展示

Was making some jump rings for a dream catcher/ sun catcher, when this happened. My flush cutters snapped in my hand. Will say I am lucky it didn’t puncture my hand. My husband is insisting on safety glasses or at least my reading glasses. I guess I should invest in a pair. This means no more wire working for a while until I can get a new pair. Maybe we will make a trip to Oasis Beads and the hardware store. My next post should be the dream catcher but after that it may be a while before I have anything to post.
