We started 2025 with a very complex project and finished 2025 with another. This project was a challenge right from the start. Having to build a road up the side of the house to access the back, then adding natural stone steps on our way out. With the help of Hastings Tree Removal we were able to transform the back into a patio while diverting water from the cottage. We replaced the old retaining walls with 80 ton of armour stone and gave the front entrance a facelift.

Working on the Bruce Peninsula means working with slopes, which means building retaining walls. This year the crew installed a variety of different styles of walls.

The finished project!
The beautiful Peninsula threw everything it had at us on this project- from steep terrain to escarpment shelves, which made for incredibly tight spaces. The crew fought through it and came out with a gorgeous waterside transformation. We added over 100 ton of Bruce Peninsula natural stone to make this waterside property useable and functional with 2 separate patios, a shoreline retaining wall, beautiful natural stone steps to the water and a path to where the dock will be relocated. We skillfully incorporated the escarpment into the patios. We are ecstatic how this project turned out.
