Meet Derrick, one of the faces behind your events!

Whether he's behind the bar, setting up a ballroom, or making sure every detail is just right, Derrick brings energy and care to everything he does. We asked him a few questions so you can get to know the person making your celebrations run smoothly.

🍽️ What's your walk-on song?
"If I Were A Rich Man" by Roger Whittaker.

🍽️ If your coworkers had to describe you in one word?
"Energetic" because I'm always pretty upbeat.

🍽️ What's one food you always hope is leftover?
Chicken Parm Sandwiches.

🍽️ Something most people don't know about you?
I teach swing dancing. I'm pretty open about it, but people don't necessarily know it by looking at me.

🍽️ What's a moment on shift that made you stop and smile?
During the Troyanda Dance Club event that I was bartending, the Banquet Captain took over my bar, and I ended up waltzing with one of the dancers.
