Over the weekend, 22 Peak staff, individuals, and family participated in an annual Highway Cleanup! Tomorrow is World Down Syndrome Day, and the chosen theme this year is Together Against Loneliness! Everyone feels lonely sometimes, but for people with Down Syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, loneliness can be a more common experience. Luckily, thatโs something we can fight to change. Break down the barriers that exclude people around you; be the change you want to see; advocate for yourself and for those who canโt. Stand Together Against Loneliness! ๐๐๐ฉต
