During the gala we had the privilege of partnering with two panel guests to share empowering information for families and communities to help protect our children.

Corporal Heather Bangle brought invaluable insight on digital threats from her work with the Southern Alberta Internet Child Exploitation Unit and Alberta Law Enforcement Response Teams (ALERT).

Kaylee Low, founder of Intentional With Tech, is a digital parenting advocate and speaker who focuses on how technology impacts families.

What an incredible evening.

Because of the generosity, compassion, and support of this community, our Evening of Light Gala became more than just an event. It became a powerful reminder that when people come together with a shared purpose, real impact happens.

Every sponsor, volunteer, donor, attendee, and supporter helped shine light into the darkness of human trafficking. Your support helps us continue bringing hope through education, advocacy, prevention, and recovery efforts that are changing lives and raising awareness in our communities. Together, we are helping protect the vulnerable, empower survivors, and inspire others to stand against exploitation.

The votes were cast… and you definitely made it a close one! Options 1, 3, 4, and 5 quickly became the fan favourites, with Option 3 taking the top spot.

But on gala night, our delightful director stepped out in Option 5, bringing elegance, sophistication, and timeless style to an unforgettable Evening of Light 🕯️

One of the most beautiful parts of the night was seeing so many people come together, each bringing their own unique light, in support of hope, healing, and brighter futures.

Our formal fundraising dinner is finally here! We can’t wait to see everyone tonight, dressed in black, white, bows & bowties, as we gather for an Evening of Light celebrating the difference we can make in the fight against human trafficking through coming together in hope and action. 💛

Every girl in our homes represents a life worth fighting for, but the reality is that recovery care comes with ongoing monthly costs. Safe housing, food, trauma counselling, staff support, education, and daily necessities are not one-time expenses. They are needs that continue month after month as healing happens.
