Feel the Burn with Barre πͺπ½πͺπΌ
Food from Mother Earth = medicine β€οΈπππ±
Saw this and had to share. I have been starting every morning with my 3 faves: cinnamon, ginger and turmeric water every day! And let me tell you, itβs been so effective. Mostly I notice my joints feel good, my skin, my digestion, my energy.
Recipe I make:
2-3 cups of water
1/2-1 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2-1 tsp ginger
And I add a big rounded spoonful of Greek yogurt.
I shake mine in a blender cup as cinnamon has a hard time dissolving.
Enjoy!
Try it and let me know what you think. I noticed a difference in my body within 2-4 days.

A beautiful day for the LPS race. Did you see me doing the warm up?
This was my sons first ever race! Iβm so proud of him. My daughters 3rd year in this race. And my 6th year. Iβm so proud of them and all the 650 participants, volunteers and cheerleaders! A sold out run for the 11th annual. Such a wonderful cause.

Wow!! Inspiring and truly Amazing! Great job to all the participants, volunteers and cheer crowds.
A great event and a beautiful day to rise money for special Olympics.
At 88 and 89, Lillian Colwill and Marion Greenway, are the oldest participants to cross the finish in the 2023 LPS Run.
The fit and feisty seniors, accompanied by Chief Mehdizadeh, completed the 5K route, in support of Special Olympics, an organization near and dear to both of them.
Marionβs son, Ryan Greenway, who suffered a brain injury in his teens while playing football, joined Special Olympics as a youth and competed in events such as disc throwing and bowling. Ryan passed away at age 49 and when Marion saw a post on Facebook advertising the LPS Run, she knew she wanted to honour him by signing up.
βThis is my day for Ryan,β she said. βIβm doing this for him.β
Marion immediately asked her good friend, Lillian to join her and she didnβt hesitate to say yes!
The pair met when they moved into a local seniorβs lodge and became fast friends. Both women are avid walkers, hitting the pavement daily.
Lillian also has a family connection to Special Olympics. Her nephew and his wife, adopted a child with Down Syndrome. Her great niece is actively involved in Special Olympics in B.C. and Lillian was happy to join her friend and lace up her runners in support of the cause.
As the pair crossed the finished line β in great time too! β local Special Olympics athletes presented them with their medals.

YMCA Barre Burn Wednesday 9:00-9:45
Kinetic Barre Saturday 10:00-10:50
And Iβll be doing the Lethbridge Police Run for Special Olympics Warm up. As well as running with my 2 out of 3 kids. This year is the first race for my 7 year old son. Iβm so proud!
