One of my favourite things about what I do is creating content!!! 😍

I wanted to share my top 4 apps, because from experience, there are just so many different ones out there that it’s so hard to know what is best.

The best part about these, is that they are all FREE 🤩
They do come with premium subscriptions (highly recommend) where you have access to a much larger range of features. Subscribing to premium access can avoid using limited fonts/images that other people who have the free version are using as well.

It’s the growth for me! ✨

When the pandemic started, I had lots of free time to think about what I really wanted. I wanted a job where I could create and manage content without limits, and I wanted to be my own boss.

So… I clenched my teeth and I went to the registry, and SamSocial was born 👶

I still didn’t feel ready, but someone said to me “You will never feel ready… you will be waiting forever to feel ready” and so I pushed through the doubt.

Talk about the best thing I ever did!!!! A year later, I am helping multiple clients build their online presence, creating fun graphics and logos, and I have the best boss ever… ME!

I am here to tell you that this is your time to put yourself and your business out there and inspire others to do what I KNOW is capable!

Creating content is my ✨passion✨ and I am here to help businesses get their message out there!

There are so many platforms for your business to be on, but you don’t need ALL of them!

You need to choose your PRIORITY platforms, but first you need to understand which social media networks are the best match for you 💕

For example:
If your business is targeting women who are baby boomers, your content will do well on Pinterest 📌
If your business is targeting men who are Gen Z, your content will do well on Twitter 🐤

Social media is always changing, and there are even more networks than ever before… so have a look at these demographics to help guide you to the appropriate platforms 😁

You can get even more in detail by conducting market research to find out exactly what times of day get the most reach/engagement, understanding how long a user spends certain types of content, and where to cross post your content.

You know that feeling you have when you make a video or a post and that little voice in the back of your head says “ok.. but what if” and then you feel uncomfortable and just scrap it or draft it… ya that feeling… 🙄

✨GET OVER IT✨

The first video I ever made for SamSocial, I was like, *cringe*, but I posted it anyway! Only having just over 100 followers at the time, that video got over 400 likes, and opened me up to a much wider audience.

Now, I am putting even more effort into my videos, and although I still get that little voice in the back of my head, there is a much more powerful voice telling me “THIS COULD BE IT!!! THIS COULD BE HUGE!” 🤩

Your breakthrough moment is coming, and you may feel uncomfortable getting there, but the opportunities that await you for just being yourself and putting yourself out there are SOOO worth it! 😌💕

So just post the thing, ok?

Make the most out of your post and use hashtags for more exposure!!! 👀

Short Videos… Why do they work so well?

Do you often find yourself getting stuck in the Reels vortex 😵‍💫
Suddenly you look up and you realize you have been sitting on the couch still in your work clothes for the last hour watching Sarah put tiny glasses on her cat…

WHY does this happen?
💥Well simply put, users are usually scrolling quickly and have shorter attention spans, meaning that short videos have a higher retention rate! This content is easily digested and it’s also a lot easier to produce than a longer video.

💥Experts say that people will only watch the FIRST 8 SECONDS of a video before they lose interest. So, put your most engaging content in the first 8 seconds of your video — whether that be showing the results of something first and then the process, asking a question, or adding a catchy hook!

💥Trends are continuously changing, so its important for businesses to stay in the loop with what sounds and content seem to be getting the most engagement.

And let’s just agree, these short videos are so fun to make 😜
