The LCHS Staff vs. Students Slo-Pitch Game was a HUGE success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to cheer on and support both teams. The game was incredibly close from start to finish, keeping everyone entertained right to the final inning.

Of course, every game needs a winner... so congratulations to our staff team for pulling off the victory by a SINGLE run!

Congratulations to Parker MacIntyre on receiving The Flame To Fame Scholarship. Parker's strong work ethic and dedication to the welding trade makes him a well deserved recipient of this scholarship. Thank you to UA Local 488 and PCL for their continued support.

On Friday, Black Gold Rodeo hosted a special event filled with fun activities, including wagon rides, a bouncy house, carnival games, a petting zoo, and much more. Our Inclusive Education cowboys and cowgirls had an incredible day, creating memories and enjoying every moment.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all of the volunteers whose time, energy, and dedication made this event possible. Your kindness and support helped create a welcoming and memorable experience for our students, and we are truly grateful for all that you do. Thank you for making the day such a success! 🤠🐴❤️

On May 27–28, 2026 at the Silent Ice Center in Nisku, the Nisku Energy Show brings together hundreds of companies from across Alberta’s energy, construction, manufacturing, transportation, and skilled trades sectors.
