Congratulations to Margret and her husband for winning our Movie Night basket!! She correctly answered our question and here is her reward! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the Devon Job Fair. It was great to meet you all and share our vision with you. And thanks to the Chamber in Devon for putting on this event!

Devon Job Fair starts TONIGHT from 5-8pm and goes tomorrow from 10-3. Come by and say “Hi!” and put your name in for a chance to win our Movie Night basket!

Just a quick recap of our Ramen Noodle Cup program to date. We reached out to Junior/Senior High Schools in Leduc County. We had 9 schools reach out, as they were in need of these soup cups to help feed students lunches. Yesterday we finally were able to deliver the last of the soup cups needed! And thanks to everyone’s support we were able to deliver 484 flats of soup cups, which equals to 5,808 individual cups! We are still in need of some finances to help cover the last of our costs, approximately $2,000. If you are able to do that please reach out and we will let you know the best way to do that!
Also a shout out to Leduc Walmart, manager Josie was huge in helping us make this come to pass!

Another 112 flats came in today and we picked up. Our kitchen looks like a small warehouse!😂 We will be able to deliver to 2 more schools this week and maybe more if the rest of the soups come in. Again, we want to thank everyone who has supported us and to our Board who have helped in all of our efforts!!

Tomorrow I, Melody, am making one delivery of the ramen soup cups! We have almost a thousand soup cups here and this will be the 5th school we have helped out this year so far! We have 4 MORE to go!! Thanks to everyone who has financially supported this endeavor!! Because of you we are making sure that teenagers at schools are fed! So let’s keep it up!!

This week myself and Hope Sabo, our Treasurer/Secretary from our Board, delivered 96 flats to four schools in Leduc County. Because of your generosity we are able to help students have a lunch! We still have over 300 flats to deliver as those come in(they have been ordered through the Walmart in Leduc), we will continue to deliver to the remaining schools that are in need. We were told yesterday that the staff have never seen such a need to help students with food like they have seen in this past year. So we are grateful and blessed to be able to step in provide some relief to students!

This week Safe Refuge had the privilege to be help to our community. We count it an honour to be able to step in and help in the time of need. Christmas can be a difficult time for many and because of your continuing support we were able to hopefully make someone in the community's Christmas a little better. We were able to help with a $500 gift card to
