"For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." 1 Timothy 6:10
Wealth is not a problem. Scripture is clear on that. It’s how we relate to our wealth.
The Parable of the Talents commends the servants who put their capital to work. Proverbs 13:11 speaks of gathering wealth "little by little" through honest, disciplined effort. The question Scripture asks is “What is your wealth doing?”
This is why stewardship is a central principle in Scripture.
And at Capstone, that question shapes everything. It is why we built a research process, a BIO Committee, and an investment methodology designed to align portfolios with Christian values.

Most people say yes. But most portfolios have never been checked.
Every mutual fund and ETF holds dozens or hundreds of companies. Without looking at those holdings, it is difficult to know whether your money is supporting businesses whose practices conflict with what you believe.
At Capstone, we built the Biblically Informed Canadian Equity and U.S. Equity Funds, available as both mutual funds and ETFs, so investors can own a portfolio where every holding has been researched against biblical principles by a dedicated analyst and approved by our BIO Committee.

Over 20 million Canadians identify as Christian.
And until October 30, 2025, there were zero Canadian-domiciled biblically informed ETFs available to them.
That changed when the ETF series of the Capstone Biblically Informed Canadian Equity Fund (TSX:BIVC) and the Capstone Biblically Informed U.S. Equity Fund (TSX:BIVU) became available.
Both are denominated in Canadian dollars. Both are available as mutual fund and ETF series. All series are eligible for registered and non-registered accounts, including RRSPs, TFSAs, and RESPs.
For those seeking a portfolio aligned with Christian values, these funds were built for the Canadian market from the ground up.

The Bible contains over 2,350 verses about money, more than almost any other topic in Scripture. If it matters that much to God, it should matter to us how we invest.
At Capstone, we take that seriously. Every company in the Capstone Biblically Informed Canadian Equity and U.S. Equity Funds is researched against biblical principles by a dedicated analyst, reviewed by an independent partner resource in Brightlight Impact, and approved by our Biblically Informed Overlay (BIO) Committee before it earns a place in the portfolio.
Stewardship starts with knowing what your money is doing.

Dividend-paying Canadian equities do something most investments cannot: they generate regular income while offering preferential tax treatment for Canadian investors.
Canadian dividends benefit from the dividend tax credit in non-registered accounts, which reduces the tax burden on that income compared to interest or foreign dividend income. For investors focused on building long-term wealth while managing their tax position, that distinction matters.
Beyond the tax advantage, companies with sustainable dividend payouts tend to demonstrate financial discipline. Consistent distributions require strong cash flow, manageable debt, and a business model built to last. For active managers, dividend sustainability is one indicator of underlying business quality, and as a bonus, these investments are often more resilient during recessionary periods.
The Capstone Biblically Informed Canadian Equity Fund focuses on dividend-paying securities within its biblical research framework, combining income generation with a values-driven approach to stock selection.

Capstone is grateful to have been a sponsor of this year's Spark Conference (https://bit.ly/4okJDOa).
The conversations we had over those few days reminded us why we do what we do at Capstone Asset Management. People who care deeply about their calling, who take stewardship seriously, and who want the way they invest to reflect their Christian values.
We heard from investors who had no idea that a Canadian-domiciled biblically informed investment option existed. We connected with leaders who are thinking carefully about how their communities steward resources. And we left energized by the conviction and integrity we saw across the room.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, asked questions, and shared their story. These are the conversations that matter most to us.
If we connected at Spark and you want to continue the conversation, reach out to us at https://bit.ly/4omHUrV.

We’re grateful for our time at the Kingdom Advisors Canada Regional Meeting, and the conversations confirmed something we already believed: the community of advisors building their practices around biblical values in Canada is growing.
Thank you to Kingdom Advisors for creating the space for these conversations. And to every adviser we met, we look forward to continuing the work together.

A group of Capstone team members recently volunteered at NightShift Ministries in Central Surrey, helping prepare and serve dinner to people in the community who could use some extra care.
NightShift has been on the ground in the Whalley neighbourhood every night since 2004, offering hot meals, warm clothing, counselling, nursing care, and most importantly, unconditional love to those experiencing poverty, addiction, and homelessness.
New friendships were made, smiles were shared, and the evening was a powerful reminder of what showing up for your neighbours looks like. A big thank you to everyone on the Capstone team who gave their time. You made someone's evening a little warmer and a little brighter.
