Just a reminder to all members, the last work bee for the 1st half of the year takes place this Sunday June 14th at 10:00 AM. Requirements for work bees are shown on the membership application you signed as follows:

3. Volunteer Hours - shows, events, or work bees

(a) Individual membership - 6 hours plus a 2 hour work bee before June 30 2026 and 6 hours plus a 2 hour work bee between July 1 and October 31 2026. HCBC membership and volunteer deposits are required.

(b) Family membership - Consists of 2 to 6 related individuals living at the same address. 10 hours plus a 2 hour work bee before June 30 2026 and 10 hours plus a 2 hour work bee between July 1 and October 31 2026. HCBC membership and volunteer deposits are required.

There are no exceptions and if work hours are not completed your deposit cheque will be cashed. Please make an effort to attend on Saturday as there's lots to do.

Registration is open for our next Obstacle Challenge show on June 6!

☀️This show is Beach themed so come dressed for some fun in the sun!

🏆This is the second Obstacle challenge in our Buckle series for 2026! If you attend at least 2 of the shows you will be in the running for overall champion!

🦄This shows bonus class will be a Gamblers choice! All of the obstacles will have certain levels of difficulty with points to go with them. Each rider will have a set time to do as many obstacles as they can as fast as they can! But they have to make sure they successfully complete the obstacle to get the points! We will have a special prize for the winner!

🐎We will also be having an obstacle practice the day before June 5, from 2pm -7pm. Sign up for practice is a separate link , but if you come to both you will get a discount!

**Please also note registration will close by 6pm the night before the show , and there is no day of entries allowed! **
