This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback came to Inc Ridez for an audio upgrade that kept the classic character intact.

We fitted a retro-style radio with Audison Prima speakers front and rear, powered by an Audison Forza 5-channel DSP amplifier, along with a 10” AudioMobile subwoofer.

The best part? The entire amp and sub setup is hidden in the trunk behind custom-finished carpeted panels. Clean, simple and built to look like it belongs there.

This RX-7 came in for a full audio upgrade, but with a car like this we wanted everything to look like it belonged there — not like a bunch of modern equipment was just added on.

With no ideal location for a conventional radio, we designed and 3D printed a custom phone mount, then built a separate custom volume / bass controller with integrated phone controls into the centre console.

For the audio system we went with Audison speakers, an Audison Forza DSP amplifier, and an AudioMobile subwoofer, finished off with a custom illuminated trunk panel that keeps everything clean and puts the equipment on display.

A lot of fabrication and little details went into keeping the interior simple, functional and true to the RX-7.

This gorgeous Ferrari 360 Spider came into Inc Ridez for a much-needed complete audio upgrade. 🐎🔊

We upgraded the system with Mosconi amplifiers and DSP, but the real focus on this build was making the install look as good as it sounds.

Everything was fabricated in-house, including a custom welded metal amp rack, leather-wrapped panels with burl wood accents, and a custom multi-colour illuminated Ferrari logo to finish it off.

A ton of work went into the details on this one, and years later it’s still one of our favourite builds.

13 years ago, I bought my first exotic — a 2006 Porsche Cayman S.

And yes, I know some people won’t call a Cayman an exotic 😂 but for me, this car represented something much bigger.

As soon as I got it, I went to work.

Full GT3-style body conversion, wheels, exhaust, suspension and lighting upgrades.

Then we used the car to really showcase what Inc Ridez could do.

The interior was completely updated in red leather and black Alcantara, including the seats, dash and custom trim. We built a full custom audio system using Focal, Mosconi and Illusion, integrated an iPad flush into the factory dash, and installed a full Es**rt radar and laser protection system.

The trunk became a complete showpiece with custom fabrication, lighting and a fully integrated amp rack.

At the time, Inc Ridez was growing and I knew that if I wanted to take the shop to the next level, we needed something that represented the level of work we wanted to be known for.

This Cayman became that car.

It wasn’t just something I wanted to own. It became a rolling portfolio for the shop — something we could take to shows, put in front of clients and say, this is what we can build.

Looking back 13 years later, a lot has changed. The cars we work on, the shop, the builds and the level of fabrication have all grown.

But this car played a big part in getting us there.

Definitely one of the most important builds in Inc Ridez history. 🏁
