104th May Day in the books!
One of my favourite Langley traditions, and very well attended this year! Happy May Day long weekend!
Happy May Day Long Weekend everyone! See you tomorrow at the Parade in Fort Langley!
The public consultation told us what people are looking for, and now I'm excited to be a part of the team that will deliver the right community centre for Willoughby, in the right spot.
Development revenues paying for a new school for hundreds of students, and for a community centre that will serve Willoughby and the Township for generations to come. That's Progress.
I'm running for Council again to build the community I want to raise my family in.
We're making real Progress on what matters; let's keep it going.

Always great to get out and chat about what's happening around town, and to see the progress being made.
Thank you to Strong Towns Langley for the invitation!

Walking through this the other day, seeing the future rinks for all the youth sports and public skating areas, made me extremely excited for the kids of Langley who will be able to start using these facilities this Fall.
Exciting times!

Look out White Rock Rotary club.. there's a new book sale in town, and it's at the LEC.
A huge congratulations to all the staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Langley and all the volunteers who pulled off such an amazing book sale this year (their 2nd annual). Thank you to the LEC for making the space available.
The book sale runs until Sunday, make sure you come by and support an amazing organization, and help make sure this book sale at the LEC becomes one of our community's best new traditions!

Amazing things are happening at 4H Langley.
Yesterday was the Langley District Public Speaking Competition for the Junior and Senior (13+) category, and myself, Sara, and Blake had the privilege of judging these speeches. Topics ranged from the dangers of AI, to the pros and cons of animal testing, to farm life and how to handle failure.
Back when I was in elementary and high school, I competed in Concours D'Art Oratoire, a French public speaking competition, and it taught me a lot of skills that I know these 4H kids are going to take with them for the rest of their lives. Well done!

The Langley Little Theatre is a gem.
A huge thank you to President David Williams for the tour. The Arts are absolutely alive here in Langley, and with $25 million from the Federal Government for a new Performing Arts Centre at the LEC, the future is bright.
