As parents, it’s easy to feel like we should be doing more.

More worksheets.
More practice.
More educational activities.

But when it comes to literacy, consistency matters more than perfection.

Just five minutes of reading together each day can help build vocabulary, strengthen comprehension, improve fluency, and most importantly, help children develop confidence in their abilities.

Whether it’s reading a chapter before bed, taking turns reading a page, or simply talking about a story, those small daily moments can have a lasting impact.

You don’t have to do everything. You just have to start somewhere.

Five minutes is enough to make a difference.

What book is your child loving right now? 📚💛

Sometimes the smallest comments stick with children the longest.

A child struggling with reading already knows it feels harder for them.
What they need most is support, patience, encouragement, and tools that actually help.

The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is confidence, growth, and helping children believe they can learn. 🧡

☀️ Summer learning doesn’t have to feel like school.☀️

At Dobi Reading Program, our summer tutoring sessions are designed to keep kids learning in a way that feels encouraging, confidence-building, and personalized to them.

Whether your child needs support with reading, writing, comprehension, or wants to avoid the “summer slide,” we create individualized sessions that meet them where they’re at.

Because sometimes the biggest growth happens when there’s finally time to slow down, build confidence, and fill in the gaps without the pressure of the classroom. 🤍

Our programs use a structured, multi-sensory approach rooted in the science of reading so children can strengthen foundational skills while actually enjoying the process.

Summer spots are limited and tend to fill quickly.

Most kids are taught reading like it’s something they should just pick up.

Memorize sight words.
Guess from pictures.
Keep moving forward… even when it doesn’t make sense.

But for many kids, that approach quietly fails them.

And then comes the labels…
“behind”
“unmotivated”
“needs to try harder”

At Dobi, we do things differently.

We teach reading in a way that actually makes sense to the brain.
Structured. Explicit. Individualized.

Because when a child finally understands how to read…
everything changes.

If this sounds like your child, you’re not alone. 🤍

A struggling child is rarely a child who “doesn’t care.”
Most of the time, they care deeply.

They’re just tired of feeling frustrated, embarrassed, or left behind.

At Dobi, we look deeper.
We meet children where they’re at and teach in a way that makes sense to them.

Watching a child realize “maybe I’m not bad at learning after all” is something we will never stop fighting for. 🧡

📚✨ Feeling stuck with your child’s reading goals? ✨📚

You’re not alone—many parents feel unsure of how to support their child when reading just doesn’t seem to “click.” The good news? You don’t have to do it all on your own. 💙

That’s where the Orton-Gillingham approach comes in. This structured, proven method helps children build strong reading skills step by step—at their own pace. With one-on-one support, your child can gain the confidence, tools, and strategies they need to succeed. 🌟

At Dobi Reading, we’re here to guide both you and your child through the journey—because every child deserves to feel capable and proud of their reading progress. 💫
