The Langley First Capital Chorus is a 25 member chorus based in Langley, BC. Within the chorus, there are also a number of active barbershop quartets.
We perform a ca****la, four part harmony music, sung in the barbershop style and are committed to providing audiences with versatile entertainment for all occasions. For nearly 50 years, the chorus has won music awards and international recognition for their charitable contributions, as well as praise from the thousands of people who have enjoyed their inspiring shows. We end every rehearsal with the sweet sounds of "Keep the Whole World Singing", an anthem of the Barbershop Harmony Society. If you love to sing, come join First Capital Chorus any Thursday night at 7pm at 20525 72nd Ave in Langley. We’ll be waiting for you in the rehearsal hall!

WE ARE SEEKING NEW MEMBERS, SO ESPECIALLY DURING JUNE, JULY, AND SEPTEMBER (CLOSED IN AUGUST) OUR WEEKLY REHEARSALS ARE OPEN TO GUESTS OF ALL AGES AND GENDER, WHO MIGHT BE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING EITHER AS AN OBSERVER, OR, TO PARTICIPATE BY SITTING IN AND SINGING WITH US TO EXPERIENCE THE JOY THAT WE SHARE EVERY TIME WE SING TOGETHER IN 4 PART ACAPELLA HARMONY. EITHER WAY, WE WOULD WELCOME YOU TO JOIN US FOR AN EVENING IN A RELAXED CORDIAL ENVIRONMENT AND TO SHARE IN THE FUN.
SHEET MUSIC FOR THE SONGS WE ARE REHEARSING IS PROVIDED TO GUESTS, AND SHOULD THEY WISH TO SIT WITH THE CHORUS, WILL BE PLACED IN THE APPROPRIATE VOCAL SECTION AND PROVIDED WITH ASSISTANCE BY AN EXPERIENCED MEMBER.
OUR MEMBERS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO READ MUSIC, AS WE PROVIDE ALL MEMBERS WITH AUDIO LEARNING TRACKS FOR EACH VOCAL PART AND FOR EVERY SONG IN OUR REPERTOIRE.
