Some of you may have seen the For Sale sign outside of Salt Restaurant and it is true that the house is for sale and also the restaurant. I will be moving back to the USA and hope to get back into the restaurant business in New Orleans. Thanks for everyone that visited and became friends throughout the last 4 years. If you are interested, or ever thought about what it would be like to run your own restaurant, this is a great opportunity to try it. It is very rewarding to put your food and ideas out there and to get immediate feedback. You meet so many new and interesting people and there are a lot of opportunities to do something different in the food market in this city. SALT is moving in a new direction. We are combining forces with Anna Maria’s café at the LMC to concentrate on catering. The restaurant space at 5103 – 49 St will still be available for special events on a reservation basis only. Groups of 8 or more can book the restaurant for birthday parties, bridal showers, meetings or a night out with friends.
