Fun In The Sun

Fun In The Sun is a free, month long summer program for children ages 6-12, and will run weekly every Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM at Popows Park in Lacombe.

Every week, children will be provided with an opportunity to meet new kids and improve their social skills, while also engaging in physical activities with an educational twist. There will be a new theme every week, and kids will be playing various games and activities organized by volunteers. Fun In The Sun was created by high-school students who felt that it was important to get kids active, and the program is being run through FCSS Lacombe.
