Bluebird: Ride With Us

What if we stopped looking at skateboarding as something that only belongs inside a skatepark?

Skateboarding communities understand how belonging works, how it's built. People need somewhere to gather and grow. They need the familiar faces which then brings people back.

They also understand that community grows over time through multiple events and sessions. It's deep and slow growing through shared space, local connection, trust and consistency.

Municipalities don’t have to create that community. In many places, it already exists and it's looking to expand.

The opportunity is to recognize that, make room for it and keep building alongside it.... Communication with this community is so beneficial.

The Community Blueprint.

Five things municipalities can learn from the skate community.
What would you add?

Thank you.

Such a fun way to finish up August. Saturday's Bright Side x Bluebird skate meet up at The Aud! Such an amazing community. Looking forward to more of these 🤙🏻

This summer has been a lot of fun spending Wednesdays at Skatium! Bittersweet, this is the last day BUT let's finish it off strong with a fun night of prizes, pizza and getting the community together!

Come by The Aud and let's skate!

Sometimes the biggest contribution happens from off to the side of the park.

Dopamine loves progress. Our nervous systems respond to connection and safety. And having someone there who understands why landing that one trick matters can make a kid want to keep trying.

Parents may not realize it, but every ride, clip, cheer can become part of the skate experience too.

This part of the culture is changing... annnd we kind of love this part of it. 💙

See you there!

Bright Side x Bluebird Skate Meet Aug 29 starting at 3pm!

All ages, all levels, extra boards available to try out.

Let's give The Aud some well deserved love and come together as a community. Let's just skate 🤙🏻.
