Mixology, K-W Mixed A Ca****la Chorus is doing our second and final round of Auditions... If you've got the pipes, come sing us a song!

KILLER SINGERS WANTED [SEP 19, 20, 21 + 26, 27, 28]... We have been soooo beyond happy with the talented singers we've met + heard during our August Auditions, we want to make space for more! SO as our recently-auditioned new singers begin getting to know and sing with the group, we'll be auditioning a SECOND ROUND who will then join us in October.

We're looking for singers who want to perform & compete with a mix of songs they love (from RENT, Moulin Rouge and Dear Evan Hansen to Stevie Wonder, Bruno Mars and Queen), in a mix of genres (rock, pop, jazz, musicals...) and arranging styles (4-11+ parts). This fun, talented, collaborative, inclusive group sings the songs we love at festivals, events and private functions.

YES, we've flash-mobbed a wedding.
YES, we break out in song on the Go Train.
YES, vocal percussion completes us.
And YES, you're going to love it here.

Booking Fall Singer Sessions (Sep to Dec) now! Has been a great summer working on range, style, tone and performance with some really talented singers. Looking forward to a season of both in-person (plexiglass partitions and safety measures at QSVP studio) and virtual lessons.

Virtual Summer 🌞 Sessions start today! Today's sessions are basically meet & greets, with a bit of a tech check, and some singing to kick it off. If you were on the fence, today's the last opportunity to sign up. $160 for the summer. Virtual concert (optional) last week of August. Lessons are Wednesday afternoon & evening as well as Thursday afternoon.

Learning tracks day! Two songs going out today - one modern a ca****la song with 6+ parts for a mixed group, one 4 part easy-learn song for a men's barbershop wanting a quick addition to their repertoire. ****la

Feeling lucky to be able to keep doing what I love most - teaching voice lessons (now entirely online - some spots still available), running rehearsals with Grand Harmony Chorus & Mixology, K-W Mixed A Ca****la Chorus & Guelph Overtones (also online). Yes it means that I pretty much live on Zoom, and physical warm-ups are essentially chair dances now, and yes, sometimes I stress eat birthday cakes right off the platter, but that's okay. My music community keeps me going and smiling.
