Zéro was proud to complete it's first high school co-op placement. Dean Ardelean, student at Waterloo-Oxford D.S.S., joined Zéro in September and worked four to five days a week until today. Dean was instrumental in getting us fully settled into our new building and assisting our Operations Manager in the day to day tasks that keep Zéro running smoothly and efficiently. Dean was also able to attend some jobsites and learn some basic demolition and abatement skills. We’re grateful for all his contributions and great attitude!

John - 10 years ✨️

John has been with us since Day 1! He started as a Labourer and has been a Foreman for most of his time here. He is loyal and has helped significantly in our shift and after-hours work. Everyone has appreciated his friendliness and genuine care for them personally. John overcame a huge health challenge to be back with us, and we are so glad that he has stuck with us through it all!

Sabrina - 5 years ✨️

Sabrina came to us as a Finance Manager and excels in all things numbers. She also quickly learned and has shown accomplishment in health and safety and HR matters. Sabrina is a positive contribution to our office environment - she even takes time to gladly share her knowledge of finance and accounting matters with her coworkers when they seek her advice.

We were grateful to be able to honour their long service at our Staff Christmas Party a few weeks ago. Keep up the good work!

We are grateful to be able to give back to our community in this way!

Last month, one of Zero's crews safely completed the removal of 900 feet of asbestos pipe insulation, then replaced it all with new insulation - all this while working entirely on elevated work platforms. The project was successfully completed within the plant's one-week scheduled shut-down. Zero's employees continue to prove their abilities in overcoming challenges!

Zéro is 10 years old!

We are thankful to all our clients for having faith in and supporting us over the last 10 years. It has been a pleasure building relationships and we hope to continue to serve our community well. We are persevering to maintain excellence in our work and continue to be regarded as a terrific employer. We will keep on being leaders in the environmental abatement industry in the years ahead.

We have just completed mould remediation work in a local community centre, removing wall panels in the arena that were supporting mould growth. Now our carpenters and lead hands are installing new mould resistant wall panels, getting it ready for the beginning of the hockey and skating season. All work is being performed safely from an enclosed scaffold system, complete with stairwell access and pedestrian walkway below.
