Hello True Believers!

Thanks for your patience while the countdown to this day happened on our Facebook and Instagram channels.

For some of you, we know the anticipation has been eating you alive!

Well, the wait is (mostly) over!

We mentioned a bit ago that we wouldn’t be running a show in 2025 and we said that was because we had big things planned.

After months of work, we are beyond excited to announce several things to you today (sorry for the length of this imortant message).

Firstly, our leadership team has grown.

Those of you in the know will remember that Kitchener Comic Con 2024 was brought to you by Co-Directors Harley and Dan, along with a dedicated crew of people that wanted to make the event a success.

We have since brought a third executive team leader, Charles, on board and we’re already witnessing him getting to work skyrocketing us to the next level with his wealth of high-level convention experience.

Our team now comes to you as the FandomForge Collective.

While the name and structure may be new, the mission is the same as it’s always been: to bring affordable, accessible celebrations of pop culture to the KW community.

Secondly, as the first of several upgrades to our past operations, we will be slowly archiving this page and transitioning to a new one under our flagship event’s new name… KW Comic Con!

This new page has been tagged in all of the posts that we have made (including this one) and we encourage everyone to follow that page as, moving forward, all KW Comic Con updates and announcements will be added to that page instead.

And finally, the piece you’ve all been waiting for…

KW Comic Con 2026 will be held on June 20-21, 2026 at the new home of our events, the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium.

We are humbled and beyond excited to bring our event to this incredible space, and firmly believe our partners at The Aud will help us deliver the best celebration of pop culture that the Region has ever seen.

The only way to end an announcement of this size is by saying thank you to you, the loyal community who have supported us throughout the years.
