🌍 Big News for International Students: Canada Launches Pilot to Streamline Study Permit Reviews! 🎓🇨🇦

If you've had your Canadian study permit rejected, you may now have a faster pathway to review your case! Starting October 1, the Federal Court of Canada is launching the Study Permit Pilot Project, designed to significantly shorten the judicial review process for study permit refusals.

📅 What does this mean?

The current review process takes 14-18 months, but under the new pilot, you may receive a decision in under 5 months.
There’s no extra fee to opt-in—just the standard $50 filing cost.
💡 Who is eligible? Students who:

Applied for a study permit and received a refusal from IRCC.
Agree with IRCC on the facts of the case and meet other specific criteria.
🌟 Why now? With an influx of immigration filings and policy shifts around student admissions in Canada, this pilot helps reduce processing times and increase efficiency for both students and immigration authorities.
